JDG has launched a formal program for technical excellence in restorative design. Kevin Davis, who joined the firm early in 2015, leads this initiative as our Vice-President of Technical Excellence.
Technical excellence combines lessons learned with an ongoing commitment to best practices. It works to anticipate and solve problems before they can affect project safety, quality, scheduling or costs.
This streamlines our design process, improves collaboration with engineering firms and general contractors, and increases client satisfaction.

JDG uses BIM, daylighting design, solar analysis and energy modelling software. These tools accelerate design development, improve interdisciplinary coordination and facilitate 3D printing.
